I've been spending a decent amount of time with wonderful women in my circle of friends who I don't see nearly enough lately. There's something about revisiting old friendships that's a bit like hitting the reset button on your life. One fabulous lady knows the last version of me from college. Another strong, sassy gal reminds me of the faster, smilier and probably drunker version of myself from ten years ago. It's always fascinating to see yourself through someone else's eyes, even if only for a moment. When someone asked me recently, yeah but does someone ever really change that much? All I could say was, I don't know about others, but I have changed quite a bit over time. It's more a question of, do we change for the better? Do we change forward? I think I may have left some things behind that need to be brought with me...I'm so grateful for the breadcrumbs left in the form of friendships to guide me back to that place to find them.
